Police looking for driver after stolen car crashes in North Troy

NORTH TROY — Police are looking for the driver of a stolen car that crashed in North Troy on Wednesday night.

At around 10:40 p.m. police responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on East Main Street.

Police say the vehicle was headed east when it traveled left of center before going off the road and colliding with a stone wall.

It then rolled back onto the road.

The vehicle was reported stolen out of the Hardwick area.

The driver fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of first responders and was unable to be located, police say.
