BRADFORD — A Barnet man faces charges after allegedly leaving the scene of an early morning crash on Interstate 91.
Vermont State Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle accident near Exit 16 in Bradford at approximately 3:37 a.m. on April 27.
Upon arrival, troopers found an unoccupied 2008 Subaru Impreza with substantial front-end damage that had collided with a guardrail.
The vehicle’s operator, identified as John Jerome Balmes, 29, was later located by troopers.

Troopers cited Balmes to appear in Orange Superior Court for leaving the scene of a crash, a violation of Title 23 VSA 1128.
The crash occurred during rainy conditions on wet roads.
