WEST GREENWICH — Rhode Island State Police arrested a 68-year-old man on drug possession charges following a traffic stop early Tuesday.
Norman Potvin was arrested at 12:30 a.m. after troopers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in West Greenwich.
Potvin was charged with Possession of a Schedule I-V 10 Grams or Less (Oxycodone).
Troopers transported Potvin to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing.
He was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future court date in Third Division District Court.
