CHELSEA — Chelsea Police Detectives, working with State Police Detectives assigned to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, have arrested Carlos Utrera, 27, of Lynn, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at 40 Watts Street.
Utrera has been charged with murder and was placed in custody without incident.
He is expected to be arraigned in Chelsea District Court on Monday.
This arrest follows a swift and coordinated investigation by Chelsea Police and the Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit.
The investigation remains active as authorities continue to pursue all leads related to this incident.
