OSSINING — A Toyota SUV was found on its side near Lafayette Avenue after the Ossining Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at approximately 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
The driver had fled the scene before emergency services arrived, according to fire officials.
Firefighters from Engine 96 deployed rescue jacks and cribbing to stabilize the overturned vehicle.
Emergency crews cleared the scene and returned to service shortly before 12:30 a.m. Friday.
