ST. JOHNSBURY — A 37-year-old St. Johnsbury woman was cited on an active arrest warrant following a welfare check on Eastern Avenue, police said.
Officers from the St. Johnsbury Police Department responded to a residence on Eastern Avenue at approximately 3:36 p.m. on April 25 after receiving concerns about an elderly female at the location.
During the investigation, officers identified Savannah Barboza as one of the involved parties.
Police discovered Barboza had an active arrest warrant out of Windsor Superior Court for simple assault.
Officers located Barboza at her residence and issued her a citation to appear in Windsor Superior Court at 12:30 p.m. on April 28 to answer to the charge.
Barboza was not lodged and no bail was set, according to police.
