SALAMANCA — A joint investigation by the Salamanca Police Department and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force led to the arrest of an Olean man on multiple felony drug charges.
Marcus A. Turner, 42, of 111 North 3rd Street, Olean, was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree.
Salamanca officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle Turner was in and, with assistance from the drug task force and Cattaraugus County Deputy and K-9 Deputy Nichols, performed a search.
The search yielded over 50 grams of crack cocaine, 30 grams of methamphetamine and numerous fentanyl pills.
Turner was arraigned and remanded to the county jail.
