GEORGIA — A local man was arrested Friday night after allegedly returning to a residence he had been ordered to leave and causing property damage.

Joshua Maple, 34, of Georgia, was taken into custody after Vermont State Police responded to a second 911 call at 1561 Skunk Hill Rd.

Police had initially responded to the residence at approximately 8:15 p.m. following a 911 call.

During the first response, Maple was issued a no trespass order and directed to leave the property.

At 10:46 p.m., authorities received another emergency call reporting that Maple had returned to the residence and caused property damage.

Officers located Maple shortly after the second call and transported him to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing.

Maple faces charges of unlawful trespass and unlawful mischief.

He was later released with a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court.
