LIMINGTON — The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire that destroyed a home and seriously injured one resident in Limington on Thursday morning, April 24.
Investigators with the Fire Marshal’s Office were requested to respond at approximately 9:37 a.m. to 41 Boothy Road to investigate the fire.
One resident was injured and was transported by LifeFlight to Maine Medical Center in Portland where he is in serious condition.
The home was a total loss.
Investigators have determined the fire was intentionally set.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
