COLCHESTER — A local man was arrested early Saturday morning after police discovered he was driving with a suspended license and without a required ignition interlock device.
Chad M. Limoge, 38, of Colchester, was stopped by Vermont State Police at approximately 12:34 a.m. on VT Route 15 near the intersection of Campus Road.
Troopers conducted the traffic stop after observing a motor vehicle violation.
During the investigation, police determined Limoge’s Vermont driver’s license was criminally suspended.
Officers also discovered Limoge was required to have an ignition interlock device installed in his vehicle, but no such device was present.
Limoge was taken into custody and transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.
He was later released with a citation to appear at the Chittenden County court on June 6 at 8:30 a.m. in Burlington.
