WICKFORD — Troopers arrested a Providence man on drug possession and driving without a license charges following a traffic stop in Warwick at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday.
Damaine Perry, 31, of 1 Cadillac Drive, Providence, was charged with possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance (crack cocaine) less than 10 grams and driving with an expired license or without a license, fourth or subsequent offense.
The arrest occurred after a motor vehicle stop on Quaker Lane in Warwick.
Perry was transported to Wickford Barracks for processing and later taken to Third District Court for arraignment.
