BRUTUS — A Brutus man turned himself in to authorities after allegedly stealing a Ring doorbell camera from a local residence.
Joshua A. Giancola, 32, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, according to Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck.
Deputies responded to a residence in the town at 6:06 p.m. on April 16 for a reported domestic incident.
During the investigation, authorities determined Giancola had stolen a Ring doorbell camera from the residence, leading to an arrest warrant.
Giancola surrendered himself to the Sheriff’s Office on April 21, where he was processed and arraigned at Cayuga County Jail’s CAP court.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Brutus Court at a later date.
