SOUTH WINDSOR — A 70-year-old South Windsor woman was arrested Tuesday after a domestic violence incident in which she allegedly scratched the victim.

Claudia V. Bernstein was taken into custody at 5:07 p.m. on April 22 and charged with disorderly conduct, according to South Windsor Police Department.

Bernstein was processed and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

She appeared in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday at 9 a.m.

In a separate case, police arrested James Gill, 52, of Meriden on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. on an active arrest warrant for larceny in the 4th degree.

Gill’s charge stems from a December 2024 incident involving the theft of approximately $1,200 worth of DeWalt tools from Lowes at 31 Buckland Hills Drive.

Gill was processed and presented at Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, as he was already in state custody on charges from other jurisdictions.
