RICHFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a Richford man Friday afternoon on charges of domestic assault and cruelty to a child following an investigation into a reported child abuse incident.
Noah Fortin, 24, of Richford, was charged after troopers from the St. Albans Barracks responded to a residence in Richford at approximately 4:53 p.m.
Troopers began their investigation after receiving a report of child abuse at the home.
Details about the victim were not released, as Vermont State Police do not disclose the identities of victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.
Fortin was issued a criminal citation to appear in Franklin County Court on April 25 at 1 p.m.
