OSWEGO — The Oswego Police Department has confiscated multiple firearms and controlled substances following a series of separate investigations.
Officers from the department’s Patrol Division and Neighborhood Engagement Team (OPNET) seized two 9mm handguns and an improvised firearm during the operations.
The seizures also included magazines, ammunition, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia, according to police officials.
The items were recovered during multiple separate investigations conducted recently throughout the city.
Police officials said the seizures demonstrate the department’s ongoing commitment to combating crime in the community.
No information was released about potential arrests connected to the seizures or when the operations took place.
