MIDDLETOWN — The Newport Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a shoplifting incident at Thryn Boutique.
The theft occurred at the Thames Street clothing store on April 21 at approximately 3 p.m.
Authorities have released surveillance images of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Tips can be provided by calling the Newport Police Department at 401-845-5769.
The boutique, located at 433 Thames St., reported the incident immediately after it occurred.
Police have not disclosed details about the items taken during the shoplifting incident.
