PALMYRA — A Newark woman was arrested following a report of suspicious activity at a local gas station.
Mary Washington was arrested at 3:11 p.m. on April 12 by the Palmyra Police Department.
Washington allegedly made false entries into business records on March 20 and 29 while working at the Corner Market gas station located at 521 E Main St.
Police say the false entries were made to conceal a larceny.
Washington was processed at the Palmyra Police Department for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree, an E felony.
She was released with an appearance ticket to appear at the Palmyra Village Court on May 20 at 5 p.m.
