CHARLOTTE — A 28-year-old Ferrisburgh woman who was reported missing from Charlotte Beach has been found alive on the shoreline of Lake Champlain.
Emily Patterson was located at approximately 11:20 a.m. Thursday and transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center for treatment.
Patterson had been reported missing Wednesday at 9:06 p.m. from Charlotte Beach.
The Vermont State Police expressed gratitude to members of the public for their assistance in the search.
Multiple agencies participated in the search efforts, including the Vermont Warden Service, Essex Police Department, Ferrisburgh Fire Department, Charlotte Rescue, and members of the Vermont State Police Unmanned Aircraft Services Team and Underwater Recovery Team.
No further information about Patterson’s condition or the circumstances of her disappearance is available at this time.
