Milford police seize drugs, guns in apartment raid

MILFORD — Milford police seized multiple firearms and drugs during a search warrant execution at a local apartment following an investigation into ongoing drug distribution, authorities said.

Officers from the Milford Police Detective Bureau, Special Operations and K-9 Unit executed the warrant at 18 Shadowbrook Ln., Apartment 56 at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday after knocking and announcing their presence.

Police used a department-issue battering ram to enter the condominium after their investigation was prompted by multiple overdoses linked to the residence.

The search uncovered 62 grams of cocaine, 2.4 pounds of marijuana, 308 grams of THC concentrate, and over 2000 mgs of THC edibles, according to police.

Officers also seized a 1911 9mm pistol, a 9mm pistol brace AR pistol, a .308 lower-receiver, several extended magazines and assorted ammunition.

Detectives found evidence of drug distribution and manufacturing, including scales, bags, paraphernalia and a large sum of money.

The suspect, identified only as Consigli, was held overnight without bail and arraigned Thursday morning at Milford District Court.

Charges include possession of large capacity firearms, possession of firearms without license, possession of firearms in commission of felonies, improper storage of firearms, drug possession and trafficking charges.
