MEXICO — The Office of Maine State Fire Marshal is investigating a suspicious fire that occurred at 108 Backkingdom Road in Mexico on Sunday, April 20, at approximately 2 a.m.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help with any information or observations regarding the fire or any other fires in the area.
Those with information are encouraged to call the Augusta Regional Communications Center at (207) 624-7076, Option 9, and refer tips to Sgt. MacMaster.
Tips can also be submitted at any time through the Arson Hotline at 1-888-870-6162.
Officials note that even seemingly insignificant information can develop into a significant lead in the investigation.
