WEBSTER — Webster Police Detectives and Worcester County Sheriff’s Department Detectives executed a search warrant at 10 Village Way, Apartment #12, around 12 p.m. Monday, April 14, resulting in firearms charges against two individuals.

The search warrant stemmed from a joint investigation into illegal possession of firearms targeting Jade Anderson, 26, and Troy Morvan, 29, neither of whom were present when authorities arrived.

Detectives discovered two illegally possessed firearms and three loaded magazines in a storage unit belonging to the apartment.

The weapons included a Polymer 80 Glock-style semi-automatic handgun with an attached flashlight and a Springfield Armory 1911 semi-automatic handgun.

Authorities noted the Polymer 80 handgun lacked a serial number, classifying it as a “ghost gun” that cannot be traced.

Investigators also found a 17-round high-capacity magazine and two additional loaded magazines.

Neither Anderson nor Morvan possesses a License to Carry Firearms in Massachusetts or any other state.

Anderson turned herself in to the Webster Police Department the following day and faces multiple charges including improper storage of a firearm, possession of ammunition without an FID Card, possession of a large capacity firearm, and conspiracy.

Morvan, currently incarcerated at the Worcester County House of Corrections on a probation violation related to a 2021 double shooting conviction in Worcester, will be arraigned at a later date.

Morvan faces similar charges plus additional counts of subsequent offenses and possession of a large capacity firearm in the commission of a felony.
