NORTH HAVEN — Two men were arrested Monday on larceny charges stemming from separate shoplifting incidents at local stores, according to North Haven police.
Isaiah Smith, 29, of New Haven, was taken into custody on April 21 for an active arrest warrant charging him with sixth-degree larceny.
Police said Smith failed to pay for several items he selected at Target.
Later that evening, officers arrested Chad Dipollina, 39, of Branford, on another active arrest warrant also charging him with sixth-degree larceny.
Dipollina allegedly failed to make payment for items he selected at Big Y supermarket.
The incidents, which police said are unrelated, occurred in late March and early April.
