POWNAL — Vermont State Police arrested a Pownal man on suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash Tuesday night.
Christopher Myers, 44, was taken into custody after troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on North Pownal Road at 10:29 p.m.
Troopers investigated the scene and determined Myers was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Myers was processed at the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury Barracks and later released with a citation.
He is scheduled to appear in Bennington County Superior Court’s Criminal Division on May 12 at 8:30 a.m.
