LEWISTON — Police are investigating two shooting incidents that occurred on Bartlett Street in recent days.
On April 20 at 4:31 a.m., officers responded to the area of 79 Birch St. for a report of gunshots.
No suspects or evidence of a shooting were located in the area at that time.
Officers later received a call from 184 Bartlett St. for a reported broken window.
Upon investigation, police discovered the damage was the result of a bullet and recovered evidence to support this finding.
Two days later, on April 22 at 10:04 p.m., officers responded to 188 Bartlett St. for a report of several gunshots.
Responding officers determined that an apartment at 176 Bartlett St. had been struck by a bullet.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
Officers and detectives are continuing their investigation and urge the public to contact them with any information pertaining to these incidents.
