CAMBRIDGE — Vermont State Police arrested a Morrisville woman for driving under the influence Tuesday after her vehicle drifted off Route 15.
Troopers responded to a report of a vehicle that had left the roadway near 3272 VT Route 15 in Cambridge at approximately 4:49 p.m. on April 22.
A trooper who stopped to assist encountered the driver, identified as Jessica Cantwell, 29, of Morrisville.
While speaking with Cantwell, troopers observed several indicators of impairment, according to police.
Cantwell was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to the Morrisville Police Department for processing.
She was issued a citation to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court on May 7 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge of DUI #1.
