BROADALBIN — A brush fire broke out on Lakeview Road in the Town of Broadalbin Wednesday afternoon, prompting a response from local fire departments.
The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company was dispatched to the scene at 4:23 p.m. April 23, along with the Perth Volunteer Fire Company.
Upon arrival, a Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander confirmed the active brush fire.
A brush truck and tanker were deployed to combat the flames, while Perth Volunteer Fire Company was instructed to remain on standby at their station.
Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Police also responded to the scene to assist with operations.
