EASTCHESTER — Four individuals were arrested Monday after a stolen vehicle pursuit ended in a crash and foot chase in Eastchester.

The Eastchester Police Department was alerted by the Westchester County Real Time Crime Center at approximately 11:45 a.m. about a stolen vehicle that had been taken in Mount Vernon.

The vehicle had fled from Mount Vernon Police and was traveling northbound on White Plains Road into Eastchester after passing through the Village of Bronxville.

Officers observed the vehicle at Leewood Drive before it struck another vehicle at the intersection of White Plains Road and Farella Way.

The occupants fled on foot when officers arrived at the scene.

Three suspects were arrested shortly afterward in the parking lot of 696 White Plains Road.

The fourth suspect continued fleeing on foot and was last seen running on Lakeshore Drive.

Following a tip from a resident, officers established a perimeter and requested assistance from a Westchester County Police K9 unit.

The K9 team tracked the suspect to a backyard on Lakeshore Drive, where the individual was found hiding under a boat dock on the lake.

Police arrested James J. Frazier, 17, Nasir Simmons, 18, and Chelsea A. Thomas, 18, all from New Rochelle, charging each with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree.

The 16-year-old driver was also arrested and referred to Family Court.

None of the suspects were eligible for bail and were released pending their court dates.
