BRUNSWICK — Three Troy residents were arrested on April 21 for allegedly using counterfeit money at a local Walmart, according to State Police.

Dynasty J. Bousquet, 23, Kristina M. Bousquet, 48, and Isabella G. Puglisi, 23, each face charges of Criminal Simulation, Conspiracy in the sixth degree, and Petit Larceny.

Troopers responded to the Brunswick Walmart at 7:58 p.m. on April 13 after store personnel reported receiving imitation currency as payment for a purchase made the previous day.

The investigation revealed the three suspects allegedly worked together to present fake money as payment for merchandise, resulting in the theft of more than $800.

All three suspects surrendered themselves to State Police in Brunswick, where they were processed and issued appearance tickets.

They are scheduled to appear in Brunswick Town Court on May 21.
