WICKFORD — Rhode Island State Police arrested three individuals on separate charges at the Wickford Barracks over a two-day period, authorities announced.
On Tuesday, April 22, at 12:36 p.m., Troopers arrested Deaisha Tiona Suite, 28, of Windsor, Connecticut, as a Fugitive of Justice.
Suite was wanted on an original charge of Larceny over $1,200 from the Hanover Police Department in Massachusetts.
Troopers took custody of Suite at Third District Court before transporting her to the Wickford Barracks for processing.
She was later arraigned at Third District Court.
In a separate incident on Wednesday, April 23, at 12:47 a.m., Troopers arrested Cinnamon Thompson, 41, of Newport, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Shoplifting from the Newport Police Department.
Thompson’s arrest occurred during a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 in Jamestown.
After processing at the Wickford Barracks, Thompson was turned over to the Newport Police Department.
During the same traffic stop on Route 138 in Jamestown, Troopers also arrested Ian Collins, 44, of Newport, Rhode Island, on a Second District Court Bench Warrant.
Collins had failed to appear for a pretrial hearing on an original charge of Driving With Suspended License from the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.
Following processing at the Wickford Barracks, Collins was transferred to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake.
