ST. JOHNSBURY — Vermont State Police arrested a local woman Monday evening on an outstanding warrant related to a previous crash and probation violations.
Troopers responded to a report of a citizen dispute on Memorial Drive at approximately 6:10 p.m. April 21.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with Heather Root, 49, of St. Johnsbury.
Police discovered Root had an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from charges of leaving the scene of a crash and violating conditions of probation.
Root was taken into custody and lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Complex.
Bail was set at $100.
