WEST GREENWICH — Rhode Island State Police arrested a 23-year-old Exeter man Monday on charges of driving under the influence following a motor vehicle accident in West Greenwich.
Troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Adan De la Cruz, of 48 Pinoak Drive, at 6:51 p.m. after responding to a crash on Hopkins Hill Road.
De la Cruz was charged with DUI – BAC unknown – 1st offense and refusal to submit to chemical test – 1st offense.
Following his arrest, De la Cruz was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing.
He was later released on a misdemeanor summons with a future court date in Third Division District Court.
