UTICA — A Utica man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a healthcare worker at Wynn Hospital on Tuesday.
Police responded to the hospital at approximately 11 a.m. on April 15 after receiving reports of an assault on a staff member.
Officers learned that Brad Taft, 46, had kicked a hospital employee in the wrist while the worker was providing care.
The victim, who suffered substantial pain from the attack, received treatment for injuries at the hospital.
Taft was arrested and transported to the Utica Police Department where he was charged with assault in the second degree.
