South Windsor couple arrested in Target theft investigations

SOUTH WINDSOR — Two Wolcott residents were arrested Monday on charges related to separate larceny investigations at a local Target store, police said.

Annalucy L. LaChance, 46, and Wayne D. Lydem, 47, were taken into custody by Waterbury Police Department on April 21 at 7:30 p.m. on two active arrest warrants each, according to South Windsor police.

The charges stem from two separate larceny investigations at Target on Buckland Hills Drive that occurred in March.

Both suspects face charges of larceny in the 5th degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the 5th degree, larceny in the 4th degree, and conspiracy to commit larceny in the 4th degree.

LaChance and Lydem were processed and released on $5,000 non-surety bonds.

They are scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on May 7 at 9 a.m.

In a separate incident, Danaysia D. James, 24, of Hartford, was arrested Monday at 10:44 p.m. on an active arrest warrant for larceny in the 5th degree.

James allegedly stole approximately $600 worth of merchandise from The Paper Store on Evergreen Way.

She was also taken into custody by Waterbury Police Department and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

James is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on May 7 at 9 a.m.
