PUTNAM VALLEY — The New York State Police in Stormville responded to a fatal motorcycle crash on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Putnam Valley at approximately 7:10 p.m. Friday.
An initial investigation determined Darren W. Teti, 31, of Levittown, N.Y., was operating a 2000 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control for unknown reasons.
Teti was transported by EMS to Hudson Valley Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation remains ongoing.
