PENN YAN — A Prattsburgh man was arrested Monday in connection with a burglary and vehicle theft that occurred in the Town of Jerusalem.
Charles H. Graner IV, 37, was taken into custody at approximately 11:30 a.m. on State Route 54A just outside the village limits of Penn Yan, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
An investigator observed Graner, who matched the description of a suspect involved in incidents that occurred Sunday night.
After a brief interview, Graner was identified and arrested.
He faces multiple felony charges including third-degree burglary, third-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal mischief, and fourth-degree grand larceny.
Graner was also charged with the misdemeanor of resisting arrest.
He was transported to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
