WESTMINSTER — A 27-year-old man was arrested after allegedly driving 114 mph in a 65 mph zone on Interstate 91 in Westminster, according to police.
Clifton L. Webster, of Hartford, Connecticut, and Winooski, was stopped by Vermont State Police at 4:09 p.m. on May 22 near mile marker 26.2 on I-91 southbound.
Webster was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and excessive speed.
He was released on a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on June 3.
Police also issued Webster a traffic ticket for the civil speeding violation.
