ORANGE — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of a dog from a residence on E. Orange Rd.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to the report at approximately 10:49 a.m. on April 20.
The owner, Charles D. Sawyer, 34, of Orange, told police he last saw his dog on the afternoon of April 19 and discovered it missing the following morning.
The missing dog is a Beagle wearing an orange and silver reflective collar.
Police have not identified any suspects in the case.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Trooper Flores at the VSP Berlin Barracks at 802-229-9191.
