BRATTLEBORO — A local man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Canal Street, authorities said.
Connor Moriarty, 31, of Brattleboro, was stopped by Windham County Sheriff’s Deputy Thomas Raymond at approximately 11:03 p.m. on April 18 for an expired registration.
During the stop, Moriarty was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, first offense.
He was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing.
Moriarty was issued a criminal citation to appear in Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on April 29.
