Batavia police arrest four on various charges

BATAVIA — Anthony A. Bomasuto, 31, of Batavia, was arrested on April 10 for Criminal Contempt 2nd and Aggravated Family Offense following an alleged altercation with a person who has an order of protection against him.

Bomasuto was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail, with a court date set for May 1.

Kara B. Baker, 52, of Batavia, was arrested on April 15 for Petit Larceny after allegedly stealing merchandise from Aldi.

Baker was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on April 22.

Jerome W. Amesbury, 59, of Oakfield, was arrested on April 10 for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, stemming from a January 10 traffic stop where he was allegedly found in possession of narcotics.

Amesbury was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on April 22.

Anthony G. Cicoria, 56, of Caledonia, was arrested on April 10 for DWI following a traffic stop on West Main St.

Cicoria was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released, with a court appearance scheduled for April 24.
