UTICA — Two juveniles were arrested after being found in a stolen vehicle by Rome police on April 21.
The vehicle had been reported stolen from Utica on April 17.
During the stop, officers discovered one of the juveniles, a male, had an active Family Court warrant.
Both juveniles were detained at the scene and later transported back to Utica by investigators with the Juvenile Aid Unit.
The pair were each charged with two counts of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree.
One count was for the vehicle they were found in, while the second count stemmed from a separate vehicle theft incident.
The male juvenile was brought before Family Court regarding his warrant.
The female juvenile was released to the care of a guardian with Appearance Tickets.
Police are not releasing the identities of the juveniles due to their ages.
