ROCHESTER — A 62-year-old Rochester man was arrested Friday evening after allegedly threatening a woman with a loaded revolver at a residence on Laser Street.
Curtis Griffin was taken into custody at approximately 7:15 p.m. on April 18 when officers responded to reports of a fight involving a man with a gun.
Police located Griffin in front of the house and found him in possession of a High Standard .22 caliber revolver loaded with nine rounds.
The investigation revealed that Griffin allegedly threatened a female with the revolver inside the house they share.
Griffin was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd Degree, and Menacing in the 2nd Degree.
The Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree charge stems from Griffin’s previous criminal convictions, including a 1986 conviction for Rape in the 1st Degree.
Griffin was transported to the Monroe County Jail following his arrest.
