NEWINGTON — The Newington Police Department is actively investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred Saturday on Willard Avenue.
Police said Monday that while the exact cause of the crash remains undetermined, physical evidence at the scene has provided a fundamental picture of the events leading up to the collision.
Investigators have determined that the surviving victim of the crash does not appear to be at fault.
Authorities confirmed that the vehicles involved were not stolen and were not being driven without the owners’ permission.
