SPRINGFIELD — A 45-year-old Springfield man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly violating an abuse prevention order, according to local police.
Springfield Police responded to a call at approximately 12:11 p.m. on April 2 regarding a possible violation of an abuse prevention order.
Following an investigation, Randall Leach was taken into custody and issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit in Woodstock.
Leach is scheduled to appear in court on April 3 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge.
After his arrest at 1:07 p.m., Leach was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility where he was lodged and held on bail.
The amount of bail was not specified in the police report.
