Franklinville man arrested on drug charges in Cuba

CUBA — A Franklinville man was arrested on multiple felony drug charges following an investigation by the Cuba Police Department Narcotics Unit.

Denis P. Kranock, 44, was taken into custody on April 13 at approximately 1:13 p.m. after a Grand Jury issued an indictment warrant.

Kranock faces two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, all felonies.

Following processing, Kranock appeared before a judge and was remanded to the Allegany County Jail without bail.

The charges stem from the alleged sale of narcotics in the Town and Village of Cuba.

The Cuba Police Department Narcotics Unit was assisted in the investigation by the Allegany County District Attorney’s Office and the Franklinville Police Department.

Kranock is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
