CRAFTSBURY — A local man was arrested Friday after allegedly entering a residence unlawfully following an eviction notice.
Vermont State Police responded to a report of trespassing at a Lake Road home at approximately 9:06 p.m. on April 18.
Upon arrival, officers identified the subject as Jacob Emerick, 26, of Craftsbury.
Investigation revealed Emerick had forcefully entered the residence without permission after previously being served an eviction notice, according to police.
Emerick was arrested and transported to the Derby Barracks for processing.
He was later transferred to Northern State Correctional Facility where he was lodged on charges of unlawful trespass, a felony, and unlawful mischief.
