Stabbing at Batavia McDonald’s leads to investigation

BATAVIA — Police responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of McDonald’s at 573 E Main Street at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 20, where one male remained at the scene while another had fled.

Officers later located the second male at a residence in the city, discovering he had sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds during the incident.

The City of Batavia Fire Department and Mercy EMS provided medical treatment at the scene before transporting the injured individual to a Rochester hospital for further evaluation.

The Batavia Police Department has identified all parties involved in the incident and stated there is no ongoing risk to the community.
