SPRINGFIELD — A 25-year-old Chester man was arrested Tuesday afternoon following an anonymous tip to the Springfield Police Department.
Xander Stillwell was taken into custody without incident at approximately 5:36 p.m. on April 1 after police received information about his whereabouts.
Stillwell, who was wanted on an active arrest warrant, was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
He was issued a criminal citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court at 12:30 p.m. on April 2 to answer to charges of being a fugitive from justice and on an in-state warrant.
Following his arrest, Stillwell was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail.
