WHEELOCK — A local man was arrested Saturday on multiple charges including domestic assault and unlawful restraint following a 911 hangup call.
James Vogt, 38, of Wheelock, was taken into custody after Vermont State Police troopers responded to the call at approximately 5:10 p.m.
Troopers interviewed all individuals at the scene before determining that Vogt had committed several offenses.
The charges against Vogt include First Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault, Unlawful Restraint in the First Degree, Criminal Threatening, Interference with Access to Emergency Services, and Unlawful Mischief.
Following his arrest, Vogt was transported to the Vermont State Police barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.
He is being held without bail at Northeast Correctional Complex.
Vogt is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on April 21 at 12:30 p.m.
