HARTFORD — A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89’s northbound Exit 1 off-ramp sent two New Hampshire residents to the hospital Friday night.
The Vermont State Police responded to the crash at approximately 9:52 p.m. on April 18.
According to authorities, a 2004 Toyota Sienna driven by Sally Martin, 44, of Newport, exited the roadway while descending the off-ramp.
The vehicle crossed over the on-ramp before entering a tree line near U.S. Route 4.
Martin and her 16-year-old passenger, also from Newport, were transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
The Toyota Sienna was declared a total loss.
The crash remains under investigation by the Vermont State Police.
Hartford Police Department, Hartford Fire Department, and Lebanon Fire Department assisted at the scene.
