MAYFIELD — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a possible motor vehicle accident on Sacandaga Road near County Highway 106 in the Town of Mayfield at 4:07 p.m. Saturday, April 19.
The emergency call was initiated by a Life360 crash detection alert, according to Fulton County fire officials.
Fire personnel were ultimately advised to disregard the call after dispatchers made contact with the vehicle operator.
The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company had been fully toned-out for the response before receiving the cancellation through Fulton County Fire Dispatch.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
